There are certain priorities every incentive travel program should include: luxury accommodations, superior service, and unique experiences are some of the ones we focus on with our clients. With an eye always on fresh destinations that offer these priorities, we’ve found some…
Domestic and International Incentive Travel Hot Spots for 2025 Beyond.
Copenhagen, Denmark
Spend just a little bit of time in Denmark and you quickly understand why it was named the second happiest country in the world in 2023! Think European charm meets Nordic elegance. Your team will fall head over heels for the picturesque canals, vibrantly-colored buildings and globally acclaimed culinary landscape.
As for activities, our teams have enjoyed wandering around the iconic Tivoli Gardens and quaint Nyhavn harbor. Rent some bikes and have guests cycle around the bike-friendly streets to see iconic landmarks such as the futuristic Copenhagen Opera House and historic Rosenborg Castle.
Copenhagen makes a wonderful incentive destination for larger groups who want to experience old world charm along with lovely modern amenities. And speaking of amenities, we recommend the Villa Copenhagen near the city center. Opened in 2020, the hotel offers a collection of social spaces along with a rooftop pool and lounge area.
Marrakech, Morocco
Marrakech is a city that seems to have been created in the mind of a great Hollywood cinematographer. The city is vibrant, colorful, and teeming with activity. It’s a wonderful destination that will really impress your guests and give them a unique experience.
Your team can spend the day wandering colorful ancient cities and take in some pretty spectacular scenery and lively souks, then dine on mouthwatering food the likes of which they have never tasted before. For those that seek a bit more adventure, send them on an outdoor excursion in the Agafay desert and Atlas Mountains!
As for luxury accommodations, you have your pick. We highly recommend checking out the luxurious La Mamounia or the newly-renovated Four Seasons.
Botswana, Africa
Did you know Botswana was named one of the “50 Best Places to Travel in 2024” by Travel + Leisure? It’s easy to see why. The stunning desert and savannah landscapes, plus the opportunities for wildlife encounters, make Botswana an entirely unique destination.
Your team will enjoy the natural beauty of the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park. Get their adrenaline pumping by organizing a game drive, bushwalk or river safari. Your organization will also feel great because you will help support the burgeoning tourism industry.
As for accommodations, the area has no shortage of incredible camp options. Check out Belmond’s three properties or new camps from African Bush Camps.
Santa Fe, New Mexico
Looking for a destination closer to home? Santa Fe continues to be a top destination for those who appreciate art and the great outdoors. Named the “Creative City” by UNESCO, Santa Fe is a delicious blend of American Indian, Latin American, and western cultures.
Your team will marvel at the breathtaking old-world architecture and other-worldly desert landscapes. Send them on a guided art tour of local jewelry, ceramics and Pueblo art. They’ll also love a bit of fly fishing and horseback riding.
As for accommodations, we recommend Bishop’s Lodge, one of the area’s top properties. Only a 10-minute drive from the city center, the charming lodge is nestled in Santa Fe National Forest and offers incredible amenities like horse stables, an on-site art studie, and its very own trout stream!
Texas Hill Country
When people think Texas, they almost instantly think Dallas or Houston. And while these glitzy business hubs are certainly great for corporate events, they don’t quite fit the bill for incentive travel. But Texas Hill Country checks all the boxes!
Immerse yourself in the Texas Hill Country’s rolling hills dotted with wildflowers, charming towns bursting with German heritage, and award-winning wineries offering scenic views and delicious tastings. Your team can spend their days with outdoor adventures like hiking to the top of Enchanted Rock for breathtaking panoramas or cooling off with a dip in a natural swimming hole, all within a short drive of those tempting wineries. And there’s also visiting the 5,500-acre Selah, Bamberger Ranch Preserve, the largest habitat restoration project in Texas.
Because the Hill Country sits between two major metropolitan areas, you’ll have endless accommodation options. We recommend the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa or the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa.
